Abstract
The present study was undertaken to explore the anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant screening of the hydro-methanolic seed extract of Moringa oliefera using disc diffusion and DPPH methods. In phytochemical screening, Moringa oliefera extract showed presence of secondary metabolites such as flavonoids, saponins, tanins etc. The antibacterial activities were observed against the test organisms. The Moringa extracts possessed potent hydroxyl radical scavenging activity against the positive control standard Ascorbic acid. Results denote the antibacterial and antioxidant activities of the Moringa oliefera seed extracts.
