Abstract
Aims: This study aims to examine the effect of work experience, work discipline, and work spirit on employee performance at SMK Negeri 2 Rantau Utara, both partially and simultaneously.
Study Design: The research applies a quantitative approach with an associative design to identify causal relationships among variables.
Place and Duration of Study: The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Rantau Utara, Labuhan Batu Regency, North Sumatra Province, during April – July 2025.
Methodology: The population consisted of 117 employees, with a sample of 53 selected using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires tested for validity and reliability. Analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination.
Results: The findings indicate that work experience, work discipline, and work spirit each have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Simultaneously, these variables contributed 61.8% to performance, with work experience emerging as the most dominant factor.
Conclusion: Employee performance in educational institutions can be significantly improved through continuous attention to work experience, discipline, and work spirit. These aspects are essential for achieving organizational goals effectively.
