Abstract
In this paper the production planning problem is formulated as linear programming (LP) model. The treatment of this problem with uncertainty is considered as a recent trend. This paper treats production planning problem with random rough coefficients in the constraints. To treat this problem, two LP problems with interval coefficients will be constructed. The first problem is LP with all of its coefficients considers being upper approximations of rough intervals and the second is an LP with all of its coefficients considers being lower approximations of rough intervals. Through these two LP problems, two newly solutions are defined. A numerical example is investigated to demonstrate this approach.
