Abstract

This paper develops the hybrid ACO/PSO algorithm for the routing in wireless sensor network. In this particular algorithm, the ant colony technique is used to obtain the specific solutions and PSO is used to optimize the parameters created by ACO technique and self-adaptively these parameters can be selected. Simulation results show that the hybrid ACO/PSO algorithm enhances the lifetime of a network and reduces the energy consumption.
