Abstract

In this paper we consider some mixed hybrid variational formulations of elasticity system.Relying in a new variational formulation of these problems, we study and implement various mixed hybrid finite elements methods for plane elasticity. The numerical results are compared with some previously published works or with others coming from commercial code like ABAQUS.
