Abstract
We define in this work, the generalized nonlinear partial Kaup-Kupershmidt equation that we look for its general pulse solitary wave solutions. From this generalized Kaup-Kupershmidt equation, we obtain the modified nonlinear partial Kaup-Kupershmidt equations as well as their corresponding pulse solitary wave solutions. Finally, we establish the modulational instability criteria of these solitary wave solutions.
