Abstract
The cuckoo search algorithm (CS) is a simple and effective global optimization algorithm. It has been applied to solve a wide range of real-world optimization problem. In this paper, a modified cuckoo search algorithm (ICS) is applied to compute any singular, double and triple definite functions. In this approach randomly selects certain points on each direction of integral domain in the initial, then ICS is used to find the optimal state of point distribution, finally the completely precise integral result is obtained. Numerical simulation results show that the algorithm offers an effective way to calculate numerical value of definite integrals, and it has a high convergence rate, high accuracy and robustness.
