Abstract
In this paper, the influence of radiation and MHD on steady and fully developed mixed convection flow of viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid in a vertical porous medium under the consideration of a Newtonian has been studied. Due to nature of governing equation A closed-form semi-analytical method have been derived for velocity, temperature. Also the rate of heat transfer in terms of Nusselt number (Nu) and the Skin friction coefficient are also derived. The effects of various emerging parameters such as mixed convection ( Gre), thermal radiation (R), thermal Boit number (Ht), Darcy number (Da), Magnetic field parameter (m) are discussed. During the course of the analytical computations, it is observed that, the velocity of the fluid increase for an increase in values of Gre, Da and Ht, while temperature field also increase for an increase in radiation parameter (R) and Newtonian heating (Ht) and were discussed in detail through graphs.
