Abstract

In this paper, we have presented an EOQ model in which inventory is depleted not only by demand but also by deterioration at a weibull distributed rate. We have considered the demand rate is a ramp type function of time. Shortages are allowed with complete backlogged. The model is solved analytically by enumerating two possible shortage models to obtain the optimal solution. Finally, we have presented a numerical example to validate of our proposed inventory model and solution procedure.
