Abstract
The reactions of the compounds 2-ferrocenylmethylidene-β-diketones and -β-ketoesters with 1,4-dinitrogen nucleophiles were studied. A new reaction of breaking the Cα=Cβ multiple bond in 2-ferrocenylmethy-lidene-β-dicarbonyl compounds is found. The structures of the target compounds [2-ferrocenylbenzimidazoles, 2-(ferrocenylmethylidenamino)anilines, 2-amino-3-(ferrocenylmethyliden-amino)pyridines, 4-amino-5-(ferrocenylmethylidenamino)pyrimidine, aluminum complexes with β-dicarbonyl compounds] are established using IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis.
