Abstract

The dissociation constants of some novel cyanopyridine derivatives have been determined using ultraviolet-visible spectrometer. These compounds have been synthesized and their structures have been confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and mass spectral data. The dissociation constants were measured in N,N-dimethyl formamide-water  mixture. It is observed that different substitutions in compounds affect dissociation.
