Abstract
The enhanced low-field magnetocaloric effect has been investigated for La0.7Ca0.2Sr0.1MnO3/Pd (LCSM/Pd) composite samples. It is shown that (LCSM/Pd) exhibits magnetic entropy change much more uniform than that of gadolinium. Through these results, (LCSM/Pd) has some potential applications for magnetic refrigerants in an extended high-temperature range. The behavior of (LCSM/Pd) make it an attractive candidate as magnetic refrigerants in a room temperature.
