Abstract

For Z>=30, at the stable mass number, ratio of nuclear binding energy and nucleons kinetic energy is equal to the ratio of proton number and its stable mass number. Stable mass number of Z seems to be a function of nucleon’s rest energy, characteristic unit of Fermi energy and proton number. By considering the characteristic Fermi energy constant observed magic and semi magic proton numbers can also be fitted. These two results can be recommended for further research and analysis.

Keywords: Semi empirical mass formula, Fermi gas model of protons’ kinetic energy, magic and semi magic numbers
