Abstract
Films of poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) polymer doped with Light Green SF Yellowish dye at different concentrations were prepared using the casting technique. The optical properties of these films were characterized using spectroscopic measurements of absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance in the wavelength range 300 – 800 nm. The results reveal that Light Green SF Yellowish dye can be used as a potential material for photonic applications.
