Abstract

The exposure buildup factor in water is computed by using deterministic (invariant embedding and neural network) and stochastic (a simulation program written by Monte Carlo method and MCNP5 code) methods. The results are obtained in the energy range 0.04–6 MeV and penetration depths up to 10 mfp also exposure buildup factor in water are computed by GP fitting method and the results are compared with this method as a well known method.

Keywords: Exposure buildup factor, water, GP fitting, deterministic method, stochastic method
