Abstract
Parameter planes displaying dynamical behaviors for a system that switches between a Lorenz-type system and a Rössler oscillator, are constructed with the purpose of investigating the in uence of the alternation on the dynamical evolution of the switching system, as two parameters are simultaneously varied. Two parameters of the Lorenz-type system are considered to construct the parameter planes, and also two parameters related with the Rössler oscillator. In each case, the parameters of the other system are kept xed in two separate sets, one corresponding to a chaotic behavior, the other corresponding to a regular behavior. The obtained results are compared with the parameter planes of an individual Lorenz-type system and a Rössler oscillator.
