Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical features and treatment principles of the second reaction after BCG vaccination from a case report.
Methods: A seven-month old boy of suspected abnormal reaction after BCG vaccination was diagnosed and analyzed.
Results: After injected of BCG, vaccination site was at least two-times intumesced, became red even diapyesis especially at the injection site, though the treatment and nursing was correct. Fortunately, the prognosis was good.
Conclusion: To correctly distinguish the abnormal reaction and general reaction of vaccination, the training of identifying and preventing the secondary reaction after BCG vaccination to medical workers should be strengthened.
