Abstract
The modern era of dentistry is emerging with ample recent materials being introduced in day to day practice. These biomaterials appear to possess a growing edge over their preceding counterparts in terms of treatment administered. Overall, the incidence of successful dental treatment is on the rise with access to these newly available materials. One such scenario is reflected by the properties of Graphene which is believed as a derivative of Graphite. Several studies had justified the usefulness of Graphene in different spheres ranging from its application in capacitors and batteries to its widespread biomedical applications. Recently, the useful application of Graphenes in dental field has been suggested. This review, therefore, aims to provide a collective information regarding the properties of Graphene, its role in general and as the future material for dental use.
