Abstract
Present research paper is based on morphometric findings about a trematode of genus Clinostomum Leidy, 1856 recovered from Black-Crowned Night Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax) of Hamal Lake, Sindh, Pakistan. A total of 24 alive hosts were brought from Hamal Lake in Parasitological laboratory. They were examined and 7 hosts were infected with 22 specimens. The specimens were processed in graded ethanol series, fixed in 70% ethanol and stained in borax carmine and mounted in canada balsam. The specimens were identified as Clinostomum Sp. It is recorded first time in Black Crowned Night Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax) from Pakistan. Present record supports the view of cosmopolitian distribution of genus Clinostomum.
