ACUTE MYELOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA PRESENTING AS LEUKEMIA CUTIS

Abstract
Leukemia cutis is an infiltration of neoplastic leukocytes into the dermis or subcutaneous tissue resulting in an identifiable skin lesion. Skin involvement in leukemia is uncommon compared to solid organ involvement. Leukemia cutis is due to systemic involvement of leukemia. The median survival of patient with leukemia cutis is very short compared to patient without leukemia cutis. Our patient was admitted with complaint of cutaneous nodules and pyrexia of unknown origin. On evaluation there was leukemia cutis due to acute myelogenous leukemia. This case was reported due to its uncommon presentation.
