Abstract
Ascites in chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) as extramedullary manifestation is rarely reported in the literature. We present a case of a 65 year old man who presented with anemia, splenomegaly and ascites. On investigation it was diagnosed as CML on peripheral smear, bone marrow as well as leukaemic cells on ascetic fluid cytology. The patient was put on chemotherapy but it was too late and patient succumbed to blast crisis.
