Abstract
Our study is part of the work of characterization and development of local plant genetic resources, particularly those on medics, which may play a role in improving forage production in our country, where the water deficit and erratic rainfall are key factors limiting agricultural production. It is in this sense that we have studied the effect f a post floral water stress on phenological and the accumulation of proline in populations of four species of local annual medics. Our results indicate that M. laciniata varierty is the most resistant to the applied stress.
