Abstract
The era of Internet has ushered in new methods in our lifestyle and the field of education has not remained untouched. New avenues of communication have brought in new challenges, along with the opportunities to showcase creativity. Managing and aligning pedagogical aspects, in such a way that the demands and aptitude of the current generation is satisfied. Smart Education is a student centric, with a collaborative approach. In this paper, we have discussed the various initiatives taken by the Indian Government in the field of smart education. We have also provided insights into the various techniques used for smart education.
