Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between Work Motivation and Career Development on Employee Productivity at Pramita Medan Clinic Laboratory, North Sumatra, Indonesia. To analyze it used quantitative research methods. In the context of this study, the research sample was 40 Pramita laboratory employees. The sample criteria are as follows: Permanent Employees and Pramita HM Yamin Laboratory Clinic Employees. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a significant positive relationship between Work Motivation and work productivity, where the coefficient tx1y = 9.816 with p = 0.032 indicates p < 0.05, thus the hypothesis is accepted. 2) There is a significant positive relationship between Career Development and work productivity, where the coefficient tx2y = 15.117 with p = 0.000, indicating p < 0.05, thus the hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that each variable of Work Motivation and Career Development individually has a relationship with work productivity. 3) For the interaction effect, a significant relationship is found between Work Motivation and Career Development together towards Work Productivity, where the coefficient F = 489.085; with p = 0.000 indicates p < 0.050. The hypothesis is accepted.
