Abstract
Now a days, people want dental implants to replace the missing teeth. Needless to say, a highly accurate alveolar and implant site measurement technique to avoid damage to adjacent vital structures during surgery is essential. Here comes the role of CBCT imaging as a new diagnostic tool for clinical assessment and treatment planning for dental implant practice. Using CBCT scanners, we can visualize the height and width of the available bone for implant placement, root anatomy of adjacent teeth, the exact location of the maxillary sinuses, mandibular canal, mental foramen and incisive canal.
