Abstract
This article presents studies on the extraction and qualitative analysis of secondary metabolites that inhibit the activity of pancreatic α-amylase of endophytic fungus Aspergillus egypticus-HT166S isolated from the Helianthus tuberosus plant. It was found that most of the metabolites with inhibitor activity of 75.4% extracted with methanol. Phytochemical analysis of the methanol fraction showed bioactive compounds such as terpenoids, anthraquinones, flavonoids, and tannins. TLC analysis of the methanol fraction revealed the highest inhibitory activity values - 72.9% and 61.8% belong to flavonoids.
