Abstract
In seasons 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, field of the Agriculture and Forestry College (University of Mosul) planted 15 barley enters from the (ICARDA) were used in addition to the locally grown variety Black Local (1) under drought conditions. Used (R.C.B.D) by three replications. The characters studied were: number of days to 50% flowering (ND50F), maturity date (MD), plant height (PH), spike length (SL), number of grains / spike (NG/S), number of spikes/ m2 (NS/ m2), grain yield (GY), biological yield (BY), harvest index (HI% ), 1000-grain weight (1000 GW), and protein percentage (P%). Effects of the phenotypic path coefficient study have been shown to be the direct effect of (GY) was high for the (NG/S) and (1000 GW). The (SL) was indirectly high in both seasons through (NG/S). The index that consists: (GY), (SL), (NS/ m2), (NG/ m2), (HI%) and (1000 GW) in Mosul location, At which, as it were, the high relative efficiency was observed for the index that included (GY), (SL), (NS/ m2) and (NG/S) in season 2019-2020 was obtained with a relatively higher efficiency.
