A field experiment effect of tillage system and Chemical herbicides on growth and yield of wheat Triticum astivium L. for associated weed in the dry land. was carried out during the agricultural season 2019-2020 in two locations, the first in the Telkaif (T) district, 35 km north of the city center of Mosul, and the second in the Hamdaniya (H) district, 30 km southeast of the city center of Mosul, with different soil texture. The experiment included two factors, the first was tillage systems: Conventional tillage system (CT) and Zero tillage system (ZT), The second was chemical Herbicides: without a Herbicides (weedy), Reward Max to Control narrow weeds, Spotlight 75% DWG to Control broad weeds, by mixing Reward Max EC with Spotlight 75% DWG to Control narrow and broad weeds, Limitless WG to Control narrow and broad weeds, and all Herbicides with the recommended concentrations. The experiment was designed according to the factorial experiment system (within split-plot) using a completely randomized block design and with three replications. The seeds were sown (variety Tal Afar 3) at a seed rate of 30 kg/dunum. Fertilizer was added (NPK 15:15:15) with 50 kg/dunum. The data were analyzed statistically in the SAS program and the mean parameters were compared using the Duncan multi-range test. The results obtained are summarized as follows: The Zero tillage (ZT) system at Al-Hamdaniya location records good efficacy in suppressing the growth of weeds. Limitless herbicide recorded the highest grain yield of 535.46 g / m and , the weight of the grains / spike was 1.291 g and the spike length was 9.586 cm in Hamdaniya location. Limitless herbicide recorded the highest grain yield of 566.89 g/m, the weight of the grains/spike was 1.313 g and the spike length was 8.836 cm in Telkaif location.
