WRITING SKILLS SYNDROME VIA SOCIAL NETWORK

Abstract
Communication generally and information communication in particular has a great deal to serve diverse purposes that human beings have always wished to achieve. The strong effects of struggling to achieve main human communication are to promote harmony, love and tranquility of living in a number of ways. This study looks critically into dangers posed by the so called social networks via the shorting of texts while chatting with their peers, relatives and even their parents. The study reveals that virtually all students interviewed and sought their options on how the text jargons affect their writing skills gave vivid account effects it has on writing skills with respect to examinations, formal letter writings and report writings (Minutes writings). The study recommends to put rules and regulations in place against its uses in formal setups; students as the centre of this challenge should be informed the danger of its usage on their educational pursuits.
