Abstract
This paper presents low power CMOS RF front-end LNA architecture, input matching with inductive source degeneration topology and current reused technique. This LNA is used for Mobile WiMAX, IEEE 802.16e wireless application. This circuit provides performance from 3.34-3.92 GHz using a TSMC 0.18 μm CMOS process. The fully integrated LNA exhibits a gain of 17.74 dB, a noise figure less than 1dB from 1.4 GHz to 4.9 GHz, operating at a supply voltage of 1.8 V. The input matching (S11) is –23.26 dB, (S12) is -22.55 dB with (S22) -11.3 dB. The design process is simulated using Advance Design System (ADS) software.
