STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF INFLATABLE CYLINDER BY USING ABAQUS

Abstract
Inflatable materials are sturdy, light, anti-corrosive and can be formed in any shape hence it is generally used in structural field. Inflatable materials are used for applications such as civilian applications, defence applications and commercial applications hence inflatable has been the zone of investigation since past. Now days, inflatable materials are more preferred over other materials in structural field due to its light weight and ease of transportability. Aim of this paper is to use finite element software i.e. ABAQUS to carry out the structural analysis of inflatable cylinder under various conditions.
