Abstract

This research addressed the study of labor union oriented to the reorganization of the private works´ social reality in Cuba. It deals with the assessment of the theoretical bases and the analysis of the term private worker, together with protection, which is achieved with a correct implementation of the socialist-oriented labor unions of this sector.

The first part of the report conceptualizes modern labor union and the second highlights the necessity that private workers reach a union autonomy.

The juridical situation of these workers, concerning their legal status, should bring about new legislations that allow the correct interpretation and enforcement of the modality of Cuban labor union. Hence, the protection of autonomous workers achieved with the correct implementation of the socialist-oriented labor unions in the sector is of vital importance.

Keywords: Cuban labor union, union autonomy, private work
