Abstract

The fifth atom-bond connectivity index is widely applied in chemical engineering (e.g., QSPR/QSAR study) for grasping the relationships between the molecular structure and the potential physicochemical characteristics. In this remark, in terms of cut trick and edge dividing technology, we determine the fifth atom-bond connectivity index of linear polycene parallelogram of benzenoid P(n,n)  which is widely appeared in various classes of new nanomaterials, drugs and chemical compounds.
