Abstract
5-methoxy-1H-indolee-2,3-dione-3-[(N-3- methoxyphenyl)- thiosemicarbazone], and its zinc (II) complexe were synthesized and their structures were confirmed by spectral data and elemental analysis. The optimized structures were performed with B3LYP theory and compared with the experimental values. Electronic transitions of the compounds were studied with TD-DFT calculations. Reaction mechanism of 5-methoxy-1H-indole-2,3-dione-3-[(N-3- methoxyphenyl)- thiosemicarbazone] molecule was also studied.
