Abstract
This study was aimed to determine the need for water in different sectors such as agriculture, electrical power generation, city supplies, and industrial processes in India. The study is based on 32-year rain data. The results have been arrived at by first averaging the result of the Time Series and Fast Fourier Transform methods. This average is further modified using generation of random numbers to arrive at the final value. It is expected that the total rain in Jharkhand will be better than the 32-year average value thereby replenishing the Indian water reserves.
