Abstract
The hidden and hitherto unknown correlations of power with kinetic energy, frequency, and temperature have been explored and established keeping in view of the results obtained by solving some simple kinematic problems. It is revealed through the analyses of the results that, in the case of collisional energy transfer between two colliding bodies, it is the body possessing more inherent power has the potential to transfer its energy and momentum to the less powerful one. It has also been revealed that the frequency of oscillation of an oscillatory system to be directly proportional to the power of the system. A simple theoretical deduction based on the same postulates used by the kinetic theory of gases has been presented which clearly suggests that the kinetic temperature of a gaseous system to be directly proportional to the average power of the gas molecules. This viewpoint has further been substantiated with the help of a relevant supporting thought experiment.
