Abstract
Paulownia culture is a new experience in Algeria which deserves to be considered. This research work focuses on the biological activities of leaves of three species cultivated in south of Setif departments. Antioxidant activity was tested by DPPH, the antimicrobial activity with three Gram-positive bacteria, three Gram-negative bacteria and one yeast and the Human Red Blood Cell (HRBC) membrane stabilization method was used for the anti-inflammatory activity. Statistic treatment was realised with one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA to determine followed by Newman-Keuls Multiple Comparison. The obtained results indicated an excellent value with a very significant difference against the used standards at a very low concentration.
