Abstract
The influence of the total extract of Vinca rosea on fermentation of endophytic fungi Aspergillus amstelodami-VR177L and Penicillium concavoradulozum-VE89L, producing vinca alkaloids was studied. It shown that the plant extract has a positive effect on the growth, level of vinblastine and antibacterial activity of the associated endophyte Aspergillus amstelodami–VR177L, and a negative effect on the same parameters of Penicillium concavoradulozum-VE89L, isolated from the related plant Vinca erecta.
Keywords: Endophyte fungi, vinca plants extract, vincristine, vinblastine, antibacterial activity.
